Skribit was founded by Atlanta Startup Weekend LLC. The goal of ASW was to bring the Atlanta tech community together, around the challenge of creating a company and product in a single weekend. Approximately 50 talented folks from the Atlanta community successfully launched Skribit.com in private beta in <54 hours. Today Skribit continues further development with a smaller team.
Mike is currently active in Skribit's future development and is also on the Board of Managers for Atlanta Startup Weekend, LLC.

Mike Strutton was director of product management for EarthLink’s Core Software portfolio of products. Mike leads a team that brought such products to market as Montage and EarthLink Mailbox, EarthLink’s TotalAccess® suite of services, Pop-Up Blocker, Spyware Blocker and EarthLink’s phisher site blocking application, ScamBlocker and Parental Controls.
Mike led other product initiatives at EarthLink, including managing the company’s portal products, member services, and business Web hosting initiatives.
Mike was with Earthlink for over 12 years. He began his career with Mindspring Enterprises, which merged with EarthLink in 2000, he was the company’s 17th employee, and built the company’s first call tracking system database. He currently lives in Villa Rica, Georgia.
