After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2002, I spent a year working as a teacher's aide for autistic children (first-graders). I then moved to Philadelphia where I worked in Marketing for a non-profit.
I joined TheLadders.com as employee #11 in April 2004 and have helped the company grow to over 300 employees, 2,300,000 $100k+ job-seeking subscribers, and well over 35,000 recruiters.

Recruited internally by new VP of Sales for this newly created position. I open and manage sales channels for our RecruitLadder product and then both solo and team sell our products through these channels.
• Signed top-5 Recruitment Advertising Agencies to new TheLadders Partner Program – TMP, Bernard Hodes, NAS, JWT Inside, Shaker.
• Created technology and media partnership with leading provider of job distribution technology (eQuest) resulting in 100% increase in client adoption of job distribution technology Q1 09 over Q2 09.
• Responsible for $1.2mm yearly revenue through partner channels. Clients include T-Mobile, Microsoft, UnitedHealth, Northrop Grumman.
• Develop all partner program marketing materials including print collateral, monthly partner email newsletter, webinar content, etc. Provide all training for partner sales reps.
• Project manager for all partner related issues – account setup, XML feeds/interface, and technical support.

After leading our Account Management/Recruiter Relations department through the transition of a free product to a paid product I moved to a direct sales role. During this time I received TheLadders “DNA Award” given annually to the employee who most exemplifies a culture of success.

• Closed $600k in all new business over 10 month period against annual quota of $600k (120% of annualized quota).

Built a 12-person client services/business development team from the ground up. Responsible for all hire/fire decisions and day-to-day management of team. Partnered with CEO to create paid recruiter product and transition recruiters away from free product. Paid product revenues were $8mm in 2008 and $11mm (projected) in 2009. Key contact with product and technical teams to turn client feedback into product features. Our efforts were featured in a 2008 Harvard Business School case study.
• Responsible for individual and team quota for job postings. Grew weekly job postings from hiring companies and recruiters from 500/week to over 4000/week in 2-year period.
• Created the strategic conference team that was responsible for participating in 6 annual industry trade-shows. Responsible for end-to-end management of conference including budget, planning, vendor management, and post-show activities.
