Michael Serotte's entrepreneurial spirit, diverse work experience and background in accounting, finance and real estate affords clients a valuable perspective on business and investment immigration strategies.
After earning a BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Miami in 1981, Michael worked as an accountant for the Miami office of Ernst & Whinney, the predecessor to Ernst & Young, one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
Michael graduated from the University at Buffalo Law School in 1985, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Harry Serotte, and his father, Donald D. Serotte. While in law school, Michael was a small business owner and real estate investor, which help build his understanding of business operations, finance and real estate.
Michael returned to Florida in 1987 working for a New York real estate firm helping lead the development of several multi-family apartment projects totalling over $20 million. While living in Washington, DC, Michael practiced real estate law and finance, as well as working in the food industry.
In 1992, Michael returned to his roots in Buffalo where he joined his late father's partner and began his career in immigration law. In 1997 he founded his own firm, which exclusively practices immigration law with a focus on creative solutions for companies and individuals that face challenging immigration matters.
