During my years with large corporations I have worked with Operations, IS Coverage, IT Support and Engineering departments.
Many of those years have been involved with Data Centre Operations, architecture, design and new product testing. My years as an Engineer have included responsibility for Data Centre migrations, Hardware design, stress-testing and implementation.
In this role, I was instrumental, amongst other regular Systems duties, in all DASD work and Data Centre design and movement. I have extensive expertise with Data Backup and Recovery options, having implemented both EMC's TimeFinder and HDS' Shadow Image. I have also been the lead Systems person for RAID 1 implementation in a TPF environment and the use of True Copy for the Data Centre moves. This included all testing, design, support and working with vendors to prove a smooth implementation.
TPF Systems, CP Building, RAID, DASD, Hardware, Data Centre movement, Data Recovery and Backup options, presentational skills, interpersonal skills, stress-testing, Hardware and Software implementation.
