I am currently seeking either a full-time writing or corporate communications position or steady freelance writing position that utilizes MY 20-PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND SUCCESS AS A PROFESSIONAL WRITER. Or a full-time teaching and regular substitute teaching position.
My success has been my versatility and my ability to consistently meet deadlines and produce concise, effective written communications--or verbal communications in the case of my recent substitute teaching work.
My freelance writing work began with the Standard-Times newspaper in New Bedford, MA in 1979, shortly after internships as a copywriter in two New Bedford advertising agencies . Throughout the past three decades, I have worked steadily as a freelancer, successfully completing a variety of assignments in a variety of media, sometimes concurrent with administrative office positions in Boston and Taunton. From 1986-89, I was an administrative secretary in the Architecture and Construction Department at Bank of Boston.
Add to the above that I earned a Technical Writing Certificate from the WTI Institute, Boston, MA, in 1992.
In 2008, I conceived 'Press Release 101', a workshop on how to write a concise and effective press release and taught the workshop in Lakeville.

Fiction Writing: Author of young adult novel, "Kaurlin's Disciples" (published by Infinity Publishing in 2006). Available through the above web site and buybooksontheweb.com. My second novel, "Kid Mobster", is available for sale via on-line requests to me at the 'authors..' website.
