He was an integral force in the early formation of the company and helped shape their focus and product specification. He is a published author on numerous topics and has served as assistant director of Fairfield County ACT!, a non-profit trust with notable experience in state-level legislative advocacy. Michael Fertik is also founder and chairman of Campaign for a National Majority (CNM). While in college in 1999, he started an enterprise class software company, raising $7 million from leading venture capital funds and building the business to more than thirty employees with public and private customers in North America and Europe.
