Michael Davis' Summary
My background includes work as a creative director, cinematographer, technologist and agency business leader. I'm fortunate to have been awarded three Personal Achievement Emmy Awards for individual excellence. Work has been recognized at Turin, Cannes, One Show and international film festivals receiving critical acclaim for approaches to content creation.
In 1998, a group of us started a HBO funded digital media channel that grew to support more than 200 employees. Our work blurred the lines between browser and tube with a social content strategy that launched one of the largest advertising supported channels in the US and Europe. In 2002, the agency world called - off to start an emerging media practice. Spanning an eight year journey at Draft Worldwide and Draft FCB, I led digital, emerging media, broadcast and content development disciplines.
As a 2009 executive MBA graduate of The Berlin School of Creative Leadership at Steinbeis University Germany, my thesis chronicled a group of international students who authored "Rise of the Technology Class."
