As a child Mike studied Acting at Frohman Academy in Carmel. He continued his training in L.A. totaling 20 years now of professional scene study & improv instruction.

Mike also studied Producing at the American Film Institute. After finishing at AFI Mike went on to produce and star in more independent films. He produced & starred in the short film ON DUTY (2000) which won "Best Short Film" at The NY Intl Film Festival (2000). He went on to star in, the Student Short Film Festival in Toronto's "Official Selection", TIL UNDEATH DO US PART (2006), & later, REVOLVER (2007), "Official Selection" at the SoCal Indy Film Festival in Orange County (2007), & "Official Selection" at Fetivus film festival in Denver, CO (2008).

Most Recently Mike Produced his wife's Writing / Directing accomplishment, the 3 minute short film POSITIVELY 4TH STREET (2007), Shauna's first Directing challenge on Steven Spielberg & Mark Burnett's Reality show, ON THE LOT, broadcast on Fox the summer of 2007.

Currently, Mike is raising funds & assembling the core team for the first feature length film production of one of 15 screenplays in various writing stages at Around the Clock Productions, a company he & wife Shauna started at the incarnation of ON DUTY in 1998.

Of all of their screenplays, they first selected to launch their company into the feature film world with THE TROPHY CASE ⓒ. Chosen because of it's crime / thriller genre, a genre that the investment is most easily recouped in pre-sales / distribution over-seas alone.
