Michael Abraham is a director and co-founder of Transworld Investment Group, a global holding company focused on continued innovation in the life settlement marketplace. In this capacity, Mr. Abraham is responsible for product development in all affiliates including, Life Policy Group, Life Settlement Leads, and LifeBack, a direct to consumer life settlement platform expected to launch in September 2009.
With more than 14 years of experience in the secondary life policy market, developing products using both UK & US policies, Michael is one of the foremost experts on Life Settlements or Traded Life Policies (TLPs) – a term he coined when introducing one of the first open-ended investment funds to be marketed through international financial advisers. This experience gave rise to Mr. Abraham’s entry into the supply side of the US market, where he and the Transworld affiliates have focused on improving efficiencies facilitating the purchase of small face value life settlements and reducing the high fees traditionally associated with selling a policy.
