Micah Webner’s Summary

My career in IT started in 9th Grade French Class, where the only language I learned was BASIC, from the kid who sat next to me. Computers became my hobby, and I avoided them as a career choice until I stumbled into a retail computer service position during a job search. After getting some fundamental training, I accepted a position as a service tech for Access Computers, Inc (now Access-Interactive, LLC) where I have been employed for almost 20 years.

During that time, I have performed a wide variety of duties, building and servicing PCs, network design and implementation, programming in a variety of languages, Linux, Windows and Novell NetWare server administration, network security administration, and web design and development.

As an employee of Access-Interactive, I have been working for the past 11 years at Henry Ford Community College. My current primary duties include project management and development on HFCC's Datatel Colleague implementation, web design using the Drupal content management framework, and Linux and VMware administration.
