Over 8 years experience in the information technology industry with extensive experience in design and development of applications for the web, and for Windows applications. Over 6 years experience with SQL Server in designing, creating, maintaining, databases from user requirements. Have experience using cursors, writing stored procedures, triggers, views, T-SQL scripting data to be published
Developed object-oriented front-end components which connected to middleware services, which gave front-end developers easier access to the services. Maintained and published several concurrent versions of these objects which allowed multiple parties, including front-end, offshore and other middleware developers to coordinate development efforts. Worked cooperatively with other departments in deploying code, debugging problems with front-end code, middleware and back-end systems. Mentored other developers in using and to enable them to take over these components.

Defined XSD contracts (using schema inheritance) to validate serialized XML instances. Interfaced with several company systems including Siebel, Oracle, MySql, Active Directory, MSMQ and SQL Server to create a unified method of accessing business entities. Coordinated the use of these services between middleware and front-end / offshore groups. ASP.NET 2.0 / SQL / DB2 / Web Services / Windows Services / EDI. Developed and enhanced several applications including electronic billing and reconciliation. Part of a team that created VitalPoint™, the company’s first forward-facing client web application. The application relied disparate systems for data, including PICK, DB2 and SQL Server. These systems abstracted to a common set of web services. I wrote and maintained business logic and the user interface for the application.

ASP.NET / ADO.NET / SQL / Object Oriented Design (OOP).
Developed a web application for the Home Hosting Travel Network. This application allowed for home owners to login and host their homes to vacationers. It included a sign-on for hosts to maintain data on their homes and for admins to maintain membership data. Logical program components were abstracted into custom classes with self-contained properties and behaviors. A custom data layer was implemented for the classes to communicate with the database.
In the time I was there, I also developed and enhanced web applications for McWane Science Center (www.mcwane.org), PetCareTV (www.petcaretv.com), MoversRatings, Law Firm Cassidy & Cassidy, Clearwater Bay Club (www.clearwaterbayclub.com), Kiefer Village Jewels (www.kvjewels.com) and more.

ASP / Access / IIS / Project Management
Developed an Intranet for RestoCon Corporation, a construction company. In this project, I took old paper methods of doing business, and transformed them into a site that gave users the ability to track a project’s progress, manage employee records, and receive, send and track inter-office messages. This solution was build on a Windows 2000 Server platform with a Access database back-end. The Access database was used to save money, and because the number of users was optimal for that database. Active Server Pages (ASP) was used to enable this data-driven Intranet.
Developed company’s public website.
Developed company’s Intranet
Developed collaboration site for a construction project for the City of Lakeland.
Designed, installed, and maintained Windows 2000 based network.
