I am a consultant, lawyer, blogger, writer, and speaker.
My law practice is focused on restructuring and commercial litigation.
I enjoy helping law firms discover how the Internet has changed our profession.
I write a feature for TechnoLawyer entitled "Small Law" where I share my views on our profession and the state of technology in practice management ... well, really I comment on the absence of technology in law offices, but you get the drift.
I also maintain a network of blogs and websites about law and technology as part of my work with bar associations and start-ups; I am proud to sit on the boards of several start up companies as well.
The way I see it, if a technology or business model isn't going to shake things up then it's not worth investing your time in; and let's face it, your time and attention are the most valuable and scarce resources you have.
In the end, the best ideas are the ones that teach us how to do the same thing differently.
