Madrid Area, Spain
I am General Manager of an international research institute based in Western Europe. We conduct research and development that will enable the Future Wireless Internet. Our vision is of a World in which billions of billions of devices will be inter-connected via a predominantly wireless Internet. We develop solutions to the many scientific and technical challenges that this vision implies. Specifically, the Institute is working in the following areas: wireless Internet protocols, algorithms and systems.
The Institute's output must have a significant impact and benefit in the real World. We have strong links with industry. Collaboration with our industrial partners is essential, not only for the development of new technologies but, just as importantly, for their transfer to the private sector and diffusion in the marketplace.
We welcome discussions with excellent researchers from around the World who want the opportunity to focus on developing solutions to real technical problems. Collaboration can take many different forms: consortia arrangements in which we develop European project proposals together; personnel exchanges; sabbaticals; permanent appointments; sponsorship;
As well as my native English, I also speak French and Spanish.
