My GOAL:
I would like to work with art directors and editors in editorial and book publishing.
My STRENGTHS:
I work quickly and meet all my deadlines.
I work well with art directors and editors, seeing directions, suggestions and critiques as a collaboration and an opportunity to grow as an artist.
From living & working in Europe and learning French, I think abstractly, understand complicated ideas and distill this into visual commercial message for my clients.
My ART:
My art work is witty, whimsical and fantastical.
I am good at likenesses for portraits.

I'm a commercial illustrator, specializing in acrylic paint and India ink. My images are peculiar and whimsical of monsters, human-limbed animals, angel-faced children and vintage ladies. Living in the Los Angeles, California area has influenced and informed my art with urban landscapes all sorts of peculiar folks.

I also was hired to teach a few one day art workshops. I taught one to a group of high school student interested in illustration and storytelling. Another was at the Long Beach Gay & Lesbian Pride Festival for the children's area. Finally, I was one of the teachers at a special mother's day event for the arts & crafts activity.
