Melanie Votaw’s Summary

I am a professional freelance journalist who has published ten non-fiction books on a variety of subjects. I also ghostwrite books and articles, and I edit and/or book doctor for individuals and publishers. I welcome inquiries from literary agents or individuals for a ghostwriter, collaborator, or editor. I often work with doctors and speakers to help them create a book or book proposal to build their platforms. My books are very diverse in terms of subject matter, and I enjoy that diversity because I have a lot of interests. That said, my main specializations include popular business, health/medicine, fitness, sexuality, psychology, spirituality, and nature/wildlife.

I have written for such publications as Woman's Day, Travel Savvy, His & Hers, and Medical Economics, and I specialize in travel, health, nature, and lifestyle (including sexuality.)

I'm also occasionally a copywriter for businesses and individuals (when it isn't a conflict of interest with my journalism work, of course.) I have written and edited websites, brochures, speeches, press releases, sales letters, and more.
