I have experience in administration, project management and marketing, and have worked in the managed behavioral healthcare, HVAC, and funeral industries. After losing my job in 2004, I returned to school and earned my AAS in Mortuary Science from CCBC Catonsville. I completed my apprenticeship to become a funeral director and passed the National Board Exam in January 2007 with the highest scores in the State of Maryland for 2007, for which I was honored by the MD State Funeral Directors Association last summer. While working, I focused on the advanced funeral planning needs of families in Anne Arundel and Queen Anne's counties.
I am currently not working, staying home to raise my daughter Jillian, who was born on January 15, 2008. My family and I live in Columbia, MD and I have lived in the Columbia area for the last twenty years. In addition to my professional experience, I am an amateur photograper.
