• Redesigned existing saw to be built in two configurations while sharing a majority of components. Allowed for great manufacturing flexibility with limited resources.
• Outsourced fabrication of masonry saw to Taiwanese supplier to improve both margins and quality while keeping final assembly in house. Required creating a parts list book for customers, communicating current design to supplier, and communicating issues to the new supplier.
• Brought a very complicated riding saw, previously produced outside Diamond Products into Diamond Products, allowing the company full control of the product. This involved finding new suppliers and fabricators for the components, creating drawings for all components, creating a parts book for the customer and assembler, creating bill of materials, and trouble shooting small issues that arose.
