I chose the category 'Arts & Crafts' as my 'Industry' because that best describes the two aspects of my work.
I started my freelance illustration business (that's the 'Arts' portion) in 1989, specializing in publications for kids-- for their education and entertainment. I also illustrate for grownups, too, when a whimsical piece of art is needed to perk up a page!
I've also, within the past year, begun to make items from fiber/fabric (that's the 'Crafts' portion). Currently, I make pillows, tea & egg cozies, and finger puppets, and have started exhibiting at some craft shows. Some of these items are also available in my Etsy shop online. Please take a look!
