I'm employed full-time at Edelman (Digital Public Affairs), working on social media project management for health and nutrition clients.
In addition to my job at Edelman, I run my own women’s sports blog (becauseiplayedsports.com) and am co-founder of the first (and only) female sports blog network, WomenTalkSports.com.
I have my bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science and am attending John’s Hopkins University for my masters in digital communication.

...Because I Played Sports is my blog, where I discuss the latest insights, opinion and news about female athletes and sports marketing campaigns which work to promote women's participation in sport. My goal is to create an online movement to increase the editorial voice of female athletes on a global scale. As a former college basketball player, this is a personal endeavor which I am very passionate about.
