Dave Meeker’s Summary

I serve as Director of Emerging Technology at Roundarch, balancing my time between both user experience design and technology R&D. My primary focus is to help drive innovation for our clients and keep them abreast of where the Web and interactive technology is headed, and how the changes in the industry can have a positive impact on their business.

I also work as Co-Director of the Roundarch Labs projects, which act as means of idea incubation and creative technology R&D.

I have been with Roundarch since November of 2007. Prior to joining the team, I had a 2-year tenure as managing partner of EffectiveUI, a firm in Denver, CO.

Before joining EffectiveUI, I was a principal at Machete, a Chicago firm that specializes in the strategy and design of passive and interactive user experiences, broadcast TV, museum installation concept design / production, and interactive (Software) design and development. Prior to Machete, I led the rich media and web innovation efforts and served as a Director of Custom Application Development for divine, inc. and later WHITTMANHART, inc.

At this time I am also working closely with Adam Flater to bring Merapi (www.merapiproject.net) to the world as the first way to bridge the gap between Web and Desktop, and being able to fully take advantage of both. This is an exciting time!
