I have been in placement and staffing since 1979 and although still work a desk I have been more involved in supporting the technology related recruitment efforts of others via books, webinars, and consulting services. My books include Power Searching for Resumes on Google, which has been very popular among those recruiters who want a free resume from time to time, MSN Live.com For Recruiters is a primer on search engine name generation, and Applicant Tracking Systems - Identification, Evaluation and Selection, a buying guide and vendor directory written to take a lot of the frustration out of the ATS selection process.

I have been the technology columnist for the Fordyce Letter, a recruiting industry publication since 1998 approaching my hundredth column sometime soon. Every month I write on a variety of recruiting oriented products and services. I also write regularly for other recruiting industry publications.

I have obtained both my CPC and AIRS CIR. I also sit on the State Board of Directors for the Mid-America Association of Personnel Services.

Swat Recruiting was started in early 2006 and is developing more products and services every day.
