MRM, Natural resource management, policy development and evaluation, regional planning, water management

Course work included: research methods and design; public policy analysis and administration; natural resource planning and management; ecological economics; risk assessment and decision analysis; environmental law; conflict and dispute resolution; environmental and social impact assessment.

For the MRM Thesis I identified perceived barriers to small scale greywater reuse in Metro Vancouver through key stakeholder interviews. Applied results to the policy cycle and made recommendations for local decision makers.

BSc - Environmental Sciences, climatology, meteorology, hydrology, oceanography, environmental ethics, technical writing

This was an honours program and included the completion of an honours thesis. Project was taken on in partnership with one other student in order to gain skills in cooperative project management. In this project we analyzed temperature and precipitation patterns for the Pacific Coast of North America between 1950 and 2000. We then compared and correlated identified patterns with El Nino Southern Oscillation events and climate change predictions.
