For 15 years I have helped drive growth for innovative mobile startups and high-growth divisions of leading telecom/IT corporations, primarily through marketing analytics, product marketing, brand strategy, advertising, and account development.
I am a versatile hands-on marketer with a head for strategy and analytics, and broad experience within the mobile ecosystem - service providers, smartphones, mobile OS, content, fixed-mobile convergence, mobile marketing, and mobile consumers.

I out-performed aggressive revenue and unit sales targets, forging marketing partnerships with major Windows Mobile device makers, distributors, retailers, and mobile operators in Ukraine. I also executed Windows Mobile's first brand building strategy with trainings for 400 retail sales personnel and brand placement in 200 shops across Ukraine, and launched Microsoft's first Ukrainian Windows Mobile website.
Key partners included: HTC, ASUS, Samsung, Toshiba, Sony Ericsson, Palm, Acer, Astelit (Life), Euroset, Mobilochka, Yug Contract, Datalux, NetPlus Global.

Named one of FierceWireless' "Fierce 15" top wireless companies of 2007, Sonopia launched an innovative, integrated mobile/web social networking software platform and affinity MVNO/MVNE approach on the U.S. market that tapped into Web 2.0 social networking, mobile services personalization, and deepening mobile customer segmentation trends.
I wore multiple hats from marketing production to market intelligence. I led the analyses of online marketing campaigns and customer base, as well as planning of our multi-variate testing to optimize our online advertising. I also led our initial investigation of SEO/SEM techniques. In addtion, I managed the lynchpin production management and product delivery for U.S.-based marketing and creative teams and Kyiv-based software engineers, product managers and IT personnel to deliver launches on-time and to spec under tight deadlines. I also identified email marketing best practices, negotiated our contract with our email marketing vendor, and participated in selection of online marketing agency.
Sonopia ceased commercial operations in April 2008.

I developed Kyivstar's first brand positioning and guided brand communication strategy and creative executions which helped it achieve undisputed brand leadership in all relevant brand metrics. I devised the brand unification strategy that successfully merged Kyivstar's prepaid sub-brand with 15 million customers into the mother brand. I also kept Kyivstar on the leading edge by delivering best-practice case studies of global mobile brand leaders and analyses of consumer, competitive and industry trends both locally and in major international markets. Finally, I crafted Kyivstar's corporate vision, mission and values to align its internal and PR communication activities with the new brand positioning.

I co-founded ROMDEL CIS as a marketing and investment consulting company specializing in helping companies take advantage of international trade opportunities between the United States and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
I filled a broad role that included sales and marketing consultancy to clients as well as business development. I developed the Russian market entry strategy for a large American furniture manufacturer, reinvigorating its local dealer sales channel through sales calls and the creation of marketing materials, as well as organizing and staffing its first trade show in Russia.

I started out as Market Intelligence Manager transforming a variety of large data streams (market share, network performance, advertising, pricing, consumer survey data) into business intelligence for clients, which also served as early-stage input for syndicated data product development. Later, I built and managed multi-million-dollar account relationships with 12 major U.S. mobile operators and other mobile-industry organizations by delivering actionable and insightful business analyses to clients.
Major clients included: T-Mobile USA, Nextel, AT&T Wireless & affiliates, Sprint PCS affiliates, ALLTEL Wireless, Virgin Mobile USA, Qwest Wireless, US Cellular, The Wireless Association (CTIA), Yankee Group.

I was a long-term marketing consultant to WestNIS's portfolio company, a Ukrainian brick manufacturer and former Soviet state enterprise. I wrote the company's first sales and marketing plan, and helped build its first sales and marketing department. I led all aspects of the strategic marketing planning process and transferred that knowledge to the local marketing director.
