I am a productive and adaptible contributor to a variety of technical fields that rely on advanced mathematical/computational models, with experience at many implementation levels, including 4GL (MATLAB), 3GL (C/C++/Fortran), DSP (C/assembly), and bit-exact ASIC design. I have direct experience in several application areas, including wireless PHY design, electronic design automation, signal processing, and operations research.
My graduate and postgraduate work in convex optimization has garnered a positive response in both academia and industry. I continue to devote a considerable fraction of my time to the development of modeling software for convex programming, and to the investigation of applications in a variety of technical and non-technical fields. In partnership with several professors worldwide I can offer seminars and short courses in convex optimization, one-on-one training, customized model and software development, and other services.
