HEAT is developing a 3D game engine used to train firefighters and police in emergency response and fire scenarios. In this project my responsibilities have included making interface components, several demonstration DVDs, modeling and texturing a variety of real-time 3D models, as well as supervising several undergraduate students working on art assets for the scenarios. This project involves professors and students, both graduate and undergrad, from the Instructional Technology, Art, and Computer Science departments.

NAGPS is the acronym for the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students. We are the umbrella group for over two million graduate and professional students currently studying in the United States. NAGPS acts as a clearinghouse for graduate and professional student organizations, serves as an advocacy group for graduate-professional student needs and rights at all levels, addresses a broad range of issues via our national committees (international student concerns, human diversity concerns, legislative concerns, and employment concerns), and much more! Every fall, NAGPS hosts a national conference, and every spring, NAGPS member schools meet at regional conferences.
I coordinated events and campaigns for the organization within the state of Utah. Worked directly with the Western Regional Coordinator.
