Mayka Mei’s Summary

I am a social media professional with particular savvy in marketing and product/community development. Recently I've found myself (happily) recruited into a social media marketing role for friends and acquaintances who run small businesses. They know I'm already well-plugged in to the "Web 2.0" culture, and working on projects for them has been a fun and exciting challenge. At their great behest, I've created a consultancy to meet the needs of small business owners who want to establish strong and influential Web presences.

My interest in social media sprouted with my first LiveJournal account, grew in my first beta Friendster invitation, and continues to develop now in my early adopter tendencies. A highly personable communicator both in-person and via long distance, I have forged relationships with partners from various industries: music labels, fashion marketers, teen magazine publishers, and more.
