A lifetime of learning - as a learner, as an educator, as a facilitator of formal and informal learning. Understanding how to improve the learning opportunities available is a passion for me. I am especially interested in exploring how informal, contextual learning can be most effectively supported through the tools and resources most commonly available to learners.
My focus is on continuing to explore and experiment with innovative and inclusive approaches to learning, especially mediated through technology.
Qualified educator, technically literate (but not bilingual), e-learning development.

Having spent 40 years working within educational environments, I have developed a wealth of knowledge and expereince relating to learning design and support - especially in relation to the use of learning technology, including the emerging tools of Web 2.0 and virtual worlds. I aim to share that knowledge and to support those seeking to establish more learner-centric approaches to learning design and delivery.
