Since 1985, I have actively supported and evangelized the DIY (do it yourself) ethic for independent creative endeavors. I am driven by the principle that doing it yourself should never mean going it alone.
As someone who makes a portion of his living releasing creative endeavors on the Internet, I’ve been interacting with fans, clients, colleagues, entrepreneurs and “cewebrities” online and off since 1998. In that time, the “real world” and Web have converged until we’ve developed a society where there’s no reason to treat one any different from the other.
The Matthew Wayne Selznick you encounter on this site, in e-mail, on a social network or in an instant message is the same person you’ll encounter should we have the good fortune to meet in person.
In addition to the range of complex services I offer through MWS Media, I am available to speak on new media, social networking and the many alternatives to traditional marketing and publishing available to authors and other creative people.

MWS Media builds online audiences for creative endeavors.
Through a wide range of complex services, MWS Media assists independent authors, speakers, new media personalities and other creative people with every aspect of establishing a presence, building an audience and selling books and other creative content on the Internet.
Since 1999, I have employed a human-based, ethically driven approach to new media and social networking to build my own personal brand as an author, musician and online content creator with a worldwide audience of more than 30,0000 friends and fans (and counting...!)

I helped design and manage the Mahalo Greenhouse, a world-wide pool of over three thousand remote contract freelancers in the Mahalo Greenhouse. In this capacity, I conceived policies, wrote documentation and provided real-time assistance to our remote freelance workers.
Additionally, I provided a user's perspective on the features, products and culture of the human-curated search website. I also educated the public about Mahalo.com through social, new and traditional media as well as public speaking engagements.
I contributed directly to the vision and direction of Mahalo.com in daily collaboration with the CEO and Editorial Director. I also monitored and engaged the social media space for activity relevant to curated search.
