  November 2008 — Present (9 months)

  After my time in the Engineering Leadership Program (ELP), I joined the eCommerce Consulting team. On the team, I create eCommerce Strategies for new and existing National Instruments products. Because of my undergraduate degree in engineering, and time in ELP, I have the technical understanding and eCommerce experience to make recommendations on how to increase conversion rates and therefore increase revenue of NI products on the web.

  I worked with National Instruments customers to ensure they were successful with our products. Towards the end of my time in the Engineering Leadership Program, I advanced to the level of Product Expert and supported our biggest customer as a technical advisor and consultant.
  
  Also during my time in ELP, I taught several classes to internal employees and external customers. These classes demonstrated how to use specific National Instruments products as well as advanced topics in a specific application areas (computer science, automated testing, etc)

  2004 — 2006 (2 years)

  I had two summer internships at Northrop Grumman in Fort Wayne, Indiana. At these internships, I performed research in the field of distributed systems. While working with my manager, we created detailed documents about existing systems and ideas about how we could leverage technology developed at Northrop Grumman to improve those systems.

  I graduated from Rose-Hulman with honors. In my time at Rose-Hulman, I played varsity baseball as well. I was all-conference all 4 years, All-Region my sophomore year, and named team captain senior year.
