Projects include but are not limited to direct mail, publication design, press kits, business collateral, and poster designs.

    Graphic designer for Enterprise Car Sales corporate marketing support. Produced promotional materials including brochures, displays and web advertisements for car sales lots and partner credit unions, with strict attention to legalese and branding guidelines. Also produced an animated video sequence for an awards ceremony, and acted as a technical advisor for department staff.

Other duties include photography, creation of line art for several hundred signature promotional items, customer consultation, as well as technical advisory to in-house art staff.

    Marketing Director for one of central Iowa's largest home builders. Responsible for managing media-wide advertisements and promotions including print, TV commercials, radio, promotional events and sales materials. Strategized the efforts of a large cooperative marketing campaign for peak selling seasons, which included Jerry's Homes partner organizations. Designed and wrote copy for all advertisements and sales materials for Jerry's Homes and realtor associates, and managed the corporate website.

  • Art Director/Graphic Designer

    Art Director/Graphic Designer for a weekly community newspaper network. Responsible for managing department workload, supervision of weekend staff, and for training and orientation of new designers. Worked closely with clients and sales representatives on a daily basis to develop detailed artwork, format designs and advertisements for special publications and promotions along with weekly publications. Developed logo designs and event identities for customers and partner organizations, and ad layouts for key accounts. Worked extensively with newspaper pagination, as well as scanning and image correction. Recognized in April, 2001 and April, 2002 by Midwest Free Community Papers for Best Community Service Design, and in February, 2002 by the Iowa Newspaper Foundation for Best Advertising Series and Runner Up Grocery Advertisement.
