Matt Hooper’s Summary

I am keenly involved in the advancement of the socially connected web and am seeking to take part professionally as a strategist, promoter of new technologies and community builder.

My passion is in the use of technology to improve people's professional and everyday lives. What I get excited about is the degree of interpersonal connection and the dissemination of personally relevant information that is being made possible by web-based technologies. This, and the trend towards a web comprised more and more of user-generated content, are where it's at for me.

My most recent experience has been as a manager of Information Technology projects.

Writing is one of my key strengths - ICT policy, project documentation and business cases.

I am seeking to expand my horizons in the Social/New Media/InfoTech space and am looking for new challenges. I would like to work with a unique, thoughtful team, particularly on new projects/startups or other challenging projects which break new ground.
