I founded Intelligent Games while I was at university and, over the course of 12 years, built it up as one of the UK's leading independent game development studios with clients including EA, LEGO, Sony, Hasbro and the BBC. In 2000 I sold it to the management team and left to take a sabbatical and then become a writer.
