I am a fourth year PhD student in Finance. My research focuses on equity lending, short selling, and information economics.
Specifically, my research on equity lending and short selling examines the causes and results of short selling constraints in opaque markets in order to understand how and when these constraints arise. In addition, I have examined whether or not idiosyncratic risk matters when short-sale constraints are present and I have investigated the role that short sellers play in identifying and processing public information events.
