Matthew left Ultralab in Dec 2006 after six years as Senior New Media Researcher. ARU decided not to continue with Ultralab’s Research and Consultancy and closed down the team. Matt continues to work the same remit as before, and is very excited to be a part of the Cleveratom team. He undertakes almost the same job as he did at Ultralab, building on the lab's foundation..... this time working for a growing company he part owns.
Cleveratom is a specialist company which aims to nurture creativity through the use of new and emerging technologies. We work with a range of organisations and explore opportunities for developing their learning environments and a major aspect of this is making sure there is a personalised approach to learning.
We can:
Consult and advise you on ICT in learning matters
Build and embed new software solutions
Sell you existing software solutions
Design learning spaces that meet your learners needs
Run training and development programmes with staff and learners
Help you make your idea happen
We advise on school design and how to maximise the use of technology, working extensively within the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ program. In helping schools and organisations understand the potential for incorporating the use of technology, we run workshops and training events which use digital creativity as a starting point. Within all of this we will build web based applications to support and extend the work we do, and better meet the needs of our clients.
In short, we articulate with our clients the possible ways forward, we run training sessions and workshops and demonstrate how this works, and we build innovative solutions to underpin the process.
Our present and past clients include:
BBC
NHS
Macmillan Cancer Support
Becta
Edison Learning
