Writer and Communications Strategist
Phoenix, Arizona Area
I work on a variety of web and print projects as part of the communications team at the Flinn Foundation, which is developing Arizona as a global bioscience research and commercial center.
Previously, I led the grant-writing efforts for Fred Finch Youth Center, a child welfare agency headquartered in Oakland with a rapidly growing network of programs across California.
Additional experience includes development of programming for youth, teaching at the K-12 and university levels, and direct service to adults and families enduring hunger and homelessness. I learned some fiction-writing sleight of hand in George Mason University’s MFA program.
Writing and editing, strategic communications, publications management, program development.
