I am a recent graduate from Vanderbilt University. I majored in Biomedical Engineering and am currently pursuing a career in medicine. I am taking a year off before medical school to conduct virology research in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

I work with a virus called Respiratory Syncytial Virus. It is a respiratory virus that primarily attacks children under one year of age. My current project involves investigating the genotypic differences in one of RSV's genes over several virus seasons.
