I have worked in mechanical design engineering development for automated histology instruments from process concept to product release. My main role on recent projects has been the design and develoment of complete fluidic and pneumatic systems. These systems included the design of the structural enclosure, electronics housing, cabling, pneumatic pressure supply, pneumatic controls, fluid supply, waste handling, and related system architecture. These systems also include the user interface items associated with use including consumable reagents and bulk fluids that require ID and authentication with the use of RFID and other data transfer devices. I have completed some project management training, PMBOK training. My core competence is problem solving, design, and hands on work.
