Game Designer
Guildford, United Kingdom
I am a young, but experienced designer from the UK.
I have had previous experience as a game designer at a company called Playgen and at university. I have therefore spent a large amount of time collaborating with others to design games. At Playgen I created and maintained documentation not just for Playgen employees but for scientists, project investors and off-site contractors. I also liaised with these people and companies to resolve problems and plan for the future of the products we were making together. At university I have also worked on many games and continue to change them based on users play testing my work.
My 3rd year project will feature professional actors in a Source engine (Half-Life 2) mod. I have also been involved in writing and managing help text, educational information text and narrative scripts on games at Playgen.
I have previous experience working as a tester on Burnout Revenge and Burnout Legends at Criterion (Electronic Arts). I have also been a tester at THQ, Lionhead and Sports Interactive (Sega).
UnrealEd (Unreal Engine 2 and 3), Hammer (Source SDK), SG Creator, Torque Game Builder, Virtools, Word, Excel, TestTrack Pro, DevTrack, Photoshop and Fireworks. Basic Japanese.
