Attorney at Law Offices of James Scott Farrin
Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area
As a Special Deputy Commissioner for the North Carolina Industrial Commission, I decided if injured workers should continue to receive benefits and decided disputes about their medical treatment. I also reviewed settlement agreements and entered Orders approving them when they complied with North Carolina Workers’ Compensation law.
I joined the workers’ compensation team at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in February of 2003. I believe that my North Carolina Industrial Commission experience gives me a unique insight into workers’ compensation cases in North Carolina. Since I worked at the North Carolina Industrial Commission, I understand the decision process for workers’ compensation claims, I can use this insight while representing my current workers’ compensation clients.
