Evene though I have a degree in Telecommunications, I "steered" to a more Informatics kind of work. In the last 3 years my main field of work was technology applied to Cultural Heritage projects. Particularly, I gained a bit of experience in the field of 3D scanning and visualization of dense 3D geometry.
I really like to participate in multidisciplinary projects, where I can interact with different kinds of professional partners.
3D scanning, color acquisition, cultural heritage related projects.

November 2006 — Present (2 years)
My research fileds at Visual Computing Lab are:
- Acquisition and visualization of 3D models: 3D scanning, color visualization.
- Study of crossmodal effects in the context of rich virtual environments

December 2004 — November 2006 (2 years)
My research fields during the first part of my experience at Visual Computing lab were:
- 3D Scanning and color acquisition, image to model registration
- Tools for visualization and exploitation of projects in the field of Cultural Heritage .
(Educational Institution; 1-10 employees; Research industry)
February 2003 — July 2004 (1 year 6 months)
My main activities during my experience at ELIOS Lab were:
- Modeling and visualization of Virtual Cultural Heritage sites
- Segmentation methods for 3D models
Engineering, Telecommunication, 1997 — 2002
I chose the Telematics profile for my Master degree, my final project was on texture recognition and retrieval in the context of big databases of images.
Reading, nordic ski, origami, baloon sculptures.
