In September of 2008, I joined Palantir.net as a Drupal software engineer ("programmers" in Palantir.net parlance). While at Palantir.net, I have worked on several sites, including Foreign Affairs and multiple large universities.
These days, I am interested in applying research in epistemology and psychology to software development. To that end, I am particularly interested in knowledge systems, ranging from content management systems (CMSes) to specialized applications for knowledge development and information finding. Drupal and QueryPath are the foci of my current work. Web services, particularly of the semantic variety, are also of interest.
I also do a lot of writing. I've published five books since 2004, and I write technical articles on a regular basis. See http://www.packtpub.com/author_view_profile/id/4 for my author's profile.
