Matthew Blass’s Summary
I started out as a Software Engineer in NYC working on a tradefloor developing the Credit Derivatives trading software for Citigroup, but soon wanted something different. I moved out to the Bay Area and found a tiny company called Spiralinks where I began building their web based HR Compensation software and started my progression into a front end focus.
As my time with Spiralinks came to an end, I joined PlayFirst, a startup in casual gaming. There I worked on their e-commerce site improving features like A/B testing and implement new front end changes including revamped product pages and global navigation.
As much as I enjoyed the PlayFirst environment, I moved onto the MP3/Digital Audio front end team at Amazon.com, and am currently seeing what I can do to help improve the success of the site.
