Last summer, I founded Media Awaken, a social media boutique that combines public relations, marketing and social media into a powerful package that enables our clients to establish themselves as thought leaders in their respective industries, engage with customers and potential customers, spread brand awareness, and reach their communication goals.
We work with nonprofits, socially conscious organizations and a wide-range of start-ups.
I recently helped launch Vook, a startup that created multimedia digital books that blend text and video into one complete story. I was the Social Marketing Manager and was the social facing voice of Vook and assisted with other creative social marketing initiatives. I still run the Vook Twitter account.
New media knowledge and skills, training in traditional PR, experience working within an international context, precise attention to detail, event planning, superior research skills, a self-starter, quick learner, project management, community manager and consummate professional.

"Youth for Human Unity: exploration for new values through Inter-cultural and Inter-religious Dialogue" was held from 21- 28 February 2005 in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, India.
The conference was organized by Auroville and supported by UNESCO. The conference was open for student/youth age 18-25 from all SAARC counties. The main aims and objectives were to create an event that would foster interactive dialogue among culturally and religiously diverse participants.
I was one of a core group of 8 people to define, create, organize and run this conference.
