I evaluate investments using methods I learned from Warren Buffett, Seth Klarman, Charlie Munger, David Einhorn and others.
I use those skills to manage investments for others at two investment funds, Mathoda Capital, which is focused on finding very cheap securities in the public markets, and Ocyle, which invests in the securities of private companies such as Facebook.
I also am a painter who will create works on request (mathoda.com/art) and a writer of an occasional essay (mathoda.com) or story (mathoda.com/stories).
I have previously been primary outside legal counsel to Voce Wireless, a mobile phone company, and to SekretAgent Productions, a production company. I have provided legal counsel with respect to real estate and corporate transactions, with representative clients including Verizon Wireless, Verizon Communications Inc., Frederick's of Hollywood, Inc., and Center Tower Associates (owners of SouthCoast Plaza, the most profitable mall in America). I have also clerked with the Office of the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where I assisted in litigation involving world trade treaty issues.
You can find out more about me, and the 3 times I've been written about in the New York Times, if you'd like (mathoda.com/about).
