My practice emphasis is on the preparation, filing and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications. I evaluate the patentability of new inventions, prepare and prosecute patent applications in the areas of plant and animal genetics and recombinant technologies, antibodies, proteins, small molecules and pharmaceuticals. I participate in litigation support, validity and freedom to operate analyses and preparation of opinions and handle Patent applications filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). I also perform patent searches and handle DNA-based applications. My practice includes advising clients regarding the potential patentability of their inventions and inventorship.
My clients include biotech, chemistry, engineering, and information technology companies, including growth companies and individual inventors.
I am former biotechnology patent examiner with the U.S. Patent Office.
