Twenty-five years of nutrition education and application of that knowledge to people's lives. Five years ago (2002), lost sixty pounds with a plan that my book, TAKE BACK YOUR LIFE, will take readers through. This is not a typical diet book, or nondiet diet book, as it would more correctly be called. It includes personal memoir and stories of the people who brought about the changes in America's food system in the last thirty years that are chiefly responsible for the changes in Americans' eating that became a fat epidemic. And, of course, the plan, which is backed up by university research. Spent three years in post-graduate study of this problem at Hunter College of City University of New York.
