Marvin Richardson is a business executive and technologist with extensive, publicly recognized, accomplishments. Marv focuses on creating business value by effectively aligning the execution of business and IT organizations and by applying new technologies in the contexts of operations and marketing.
Marv's professional background includes roles in financial services, professional services, and software organizations. He has a deep understanding of insurance, banking and capital markets from his work with global leaders such as Allianz, Chase, and RBC Dominion Securities. Marv developed his technology management experience from his CTO leadership at corporate and entrepreneurial organizations such as Aon (revenue $10B), MCI Systemhouse (revenue $2B), and Lante (revenue $70M).
He has been a featured speaker at business forums such as the CEO Round Table and IT forums such as the CIO Summit and the SOA Executive Forum. His numerous articles have appeared in InformationWeek, CMA (Certified Management Accountants) Magazine, CIO Canada and other business and technology publications. He is a member of several advisory boards, including the InfoWorld CTO Advisory Council, and was recognized as "CTO of the Year" for Consulting Services in 2001.
