I was originally trained in molecular biology and gained experience in research management, technology assessment and business development in a biotechnology company. Subsequently I founded and found financing for two startups. I developed expertise in the application of knowledge management and content management systems (ECM) to pharmaceutical and other life sciences companies. I now work in a medium-sized software company in enterprise architecture.

Staff grew to 38 by mid-2000, with offices in the US, Canada and Switzerland.
