Marty McCrea’s Summary

I am a theoretical inventor and a catalyst. I have spent the last 15 years inventing technologies that enable people to communicate, invent and relate in newly realized ways. My goals are focused on marrying the Open Source development model with full-transparency and an unyielding ethics model to create technologies that catalyze global entrepreneurial outputs for individual, mutual and global benefit simultaneously.

Serial entrepreneur doesn't even begin to describe the innovation and invention that I have in my mind's eye. I have mentored and helped people invent their ideas for years, so as a result I've built a network of entrepreneurial people that have cutting edge ideas.

Being a networked conduit for these ideas provides pathways for manufacturing, marketing, distribution, funding, and partnership. I have adapted the Open Source model of software development and applied it to invention. People need an entrepreneurial and safe haven to invent in. It's name is Open Source Invent.

Nobel Prize Winner Albert von Szent-Györgyi once said that "Discovery consists of seeing what everybody else has seen, and thinking what no one has thought."

My professional goals are to create a large enough network of people that are able to see what everyone else sees and think what no one has thought before and share what they think. Synergy will organically emerge and people will be inspired into action to invent upon that newly realized platform of human communication. The innovation of invention is just the beginning; there are other aspects of life that are ripe for innovation as well.

The Open Source Invent network represents the convergence of ethics, transparency, and invention based within an open source semantic Web 3.0 application that infuses customizable user interfaces and innovative plugins with member and expert generated content resulting in an engaged and more holistically aware invention experience for the people inhabiting Spaceship Earth.

Marty McCrea’s Interests:

I am interested in studying the access and creativity of levels of consciousness, vibrational variables in thought and cognition related to the distinction of choice, synaptic plasticity and elasticity and creating Aha moments by simply talking about them demonstrating the synaptic influence of the spoken word. I also have interests in applying open source practices to invent in a more connected and love centered way, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit globally. Encouraging global participation in building the next stage innovation engine that everyone benefits from, open source invent, entrepreneurialism, developing a non-fear-based way to invent. The collective entrepreneurial spirit is waking up and somehow we all know that a better system of invention has to be built in order the human race to survive the next few hundred years. The truth of innovation and entrepreneurial risk taking is the next killer app. If we talk about it we build it.
