Alchemy Computing was a privately held company founded with two colleagues using own funds for seed capital. We grew the company significantly after securing an additional $150,000 in capital from angel investors. In early 2000, MITEM exercised a buy-out option in our distribution agreement. This transaction returned profits to all shareholders. After the acquisition I hired and trained a new Director-level management team before relocating to Corporate H.Q in California.
Generated over $2 million in product and services revenue from zero base in new markets
Developed and implemented integrated Sales & Marketing strategy, resulting in new business from Global 2000 companies in UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg and Belgium
Executed highly targeted partner recruitment program, resulting in profitable relations with top flight System Integrators and Consulting Firms e.g. Cap Gemini, PA Consulting Group, General Dynamics, Cambridge Technology Partners and Perot Systems.

Started out as a sales pup with just the Yellow Pages and a phone, targeting opportunities in the burgeoning Desktop Publishing market. Rapidly grew in stature to become part of the best corporate sales team in the Apple reseller channel; we handled national accounts like Her Majesty's Stationary Office, GEC Marconi, Kodak, BT, Nortel and Glaxo. Company evolved from flogging tin (Apple and Compaq) to become a niche SI specializing in legacy integration and Oracle products (was one of the early Oracle resellers in the UK). First came across MitemView middleware product here which I then pursued further by starting my own company, Alchemy Computing, to specialize in legacy integration (mainframe & midrange) representing MITEM Corp. in Europe.
